Lodo’s Bar & Grill, plus Happy Salami Day!

Posted on: September 7, 2010

While it’s not quite that time here yet, for all you people on the East Coast and in the Central time zone, it’s September 7th, meaning….it’s Salami Day! Hope you’ve got exciting salami-related plans for the day. I’ll be enjoying a relaxing evening in with some salami and cheese.

The laziest way to celebrate Salami Day? Get a pizza topped with pepperoni. This one happens to be the “Traditional Pizza” from Lodo’s Bar and Grill in downtown Denver, conveniently located about a block from Coors Field. The pizza was a tad greasy (as you can probably see in the picture), but the cheese assortment used on the pizza (not sure what the mix was) had a really nice kick to it. This $8.99 pizza fed Drew and I to the point of satisfaction but not fullness (we let the beer take care of that part). Definitely recommended!
