How Not To Make Chocolate Zucchini Bread

So I had these zucchinis, see. And when one is in possession of zucchinis, there is often little else one can think about other then making a bread out of them. This is because zucchini bread is delicious. However, do you know what is even more delicious then zucchini bread? Chocolate zucchini bread.
So I plowed ahead with this recipe, mutating the recipe the entire way. The zucchini was supposed to be grated, but for some reason that just felt like a whole lotta effort, so I decided to dice it up instead. Not too big of a deal, just led to larger chunks. I ended up using about 50% more zucchini then what the recipe called for, but I figured those would just be bonus nutrients. I did a few other things differently too, like using brown sugar along with the white sugar, and using cocoa powder in place of some of the chocolate.
The real problem emerged when I realized I had half the flour that the recipe called for. This was a problem easily solved – I just dumped in some brownie mix instead! I mean, they’re really similar, right? The end result was mighty strange.
It was half brownie, half slime. Like, say you make a bunch of brownies with chunks of zucchini in the batch, and didn’t bother to cook it all the way. So we dumped ice cream all over it and pretended it was supposed to come out like this. It was so good. I highly recommend messing up a zucchini bread in this manner. Though, not if you actually want to eat zucchini bread.
