Worst Cheese Platter Ever

Posted on: April 8, 2009

Ever had one of those nights when you had some friends over, and you thought to yourself, “The only thing that would make this night better is some cheese!” This visionary moment then leads to the cobbling together of a cheese platter. This sort of thing is disastrous if your fridge looks anything like mine did on a recent evening, which led to this fabulous exercise in awful cheese plattery:

Three types of cheese were representing on this platter! You’ve got your very traditional yellow American (still in wrapper, to preserve freshness), some rather low-grade Parmesan, and some of the most mediocre Colby Jack you’d ever want to eat. Or not want to eat, as the case may be. The crackers added bonus fanciness as well!

And now I would like to take a moment to do some self promotion, here. Salami Day, celebrated on September 7th, is one of the most important holidays a fan of meat in a tube can celebrate. Well, it is indeed the moment that you all have been waiting for…Salami Day shirts are finally available to the public! There’s two designs at the moment (and hopefully two more to come in the near future), available in a select variety of shirt styles and colors. September’s just around the corner, so get your Salami Day t-shirt now!
